Is teeth whitening safe?

Yes / No, the treatment can whiten them to their original color.  This is a great reason to whiten your teeth prior to matching color for any synthetic tooth.

Can I get my teeth whitened if I'm pregnant?
Yes, but you should always consult with your physician before hand if you're pregnant.

Can my child get his / her teeth whitened?
No, this is a cosmetic procedure intended for adults.  The only time a minor should undergo a teeth whitening procedure is if his / her dentist recommends it.

How long does the treatment take?
Laser teeth whitening treatments take anywhere from a half hour to an hour and a half.  Most are performed in a single visit with multiple applications.

Are in-office treatments better than take home kits?
Yes, non-dental and dental teeth whitening establishments use a higher concentration of gel plus a high powered UV bleaching light which speeds up the process.
